Gastroparesis is a disorder characterized by delayed stomach emptying resulting in nausea, vomiting, bloating, abdominal discomfort, and early satiety. G-POEM involves endoscopic division of the pyloric muscle to improve gastric emptying.

This minimally invasive procedure has emerged as a highly effective treatment option for carefully selected patients with medically refractory gastroparesis.
